You are Invited to attend the Funeral Service for Trish Boucher
To be held at the home of Colin and Trish Boucher on the 11th March at 27 Grecian Bends Road, Greens Creek 4570.
The Club invites members who would like to attend the Funeral Service for Trish Boucher to register here, so we can provide numbers to Colin.
We encourage anyone attending to bring their Classic Car if possible and be there by 9.45am at the latest.
Following the service you are invited to stay for refreshments, to support Colin and family and share memories of Trish.
It would be appreciated if you could also bring a small plate to share.

'It is my melancholy task to let you all know that Trish, my ever loving and devoted wife of over 50 years and mother of our girls, both Sallie and Penny, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon 22nd February after a 2 year battle with cancer. Sallie and I were holding her hand when she had her last breath.
Trish will be missed by all, for her caring and wonderful vivacious, effervescent and infectious witty character that touched all who came in contact with her all of her life. Trish left a lasting impression in our world of family, friends and acquaintances in Australia, Indonesia and France.
She will be missed by all of us in our close knit family and of course, within our close French extended family.
Trish was my soul mate and best friend…we met when we were both 18 years old. I will miss her! As will both Sallie and Penny! And all who knew her...
Unfortunately our Penny is solo at present, and hurting, in Australian mandatory international traveller Covid 14 days lockdown confinement in a hotel in Sydney after flying in from Paris via Tokyo and arriving about 9 am this last Monday morning.
We will be holding a funeral service to celebrate Trisha’s life about 11 or 12 March after Penny’s release from quarantine, in our home town Gympie, Queensland, to be held at our Queenslander home and 'Old Schoolhouse' in the house she loved and helped me build/renovate, in our botanical garden setting. Mark, our son in law will pick Penny up from the hotel and bring her to Gympie by air travel to be with us and her friends, all together.
Trisha’s family background on her mother’s side were very multi generational Irish pioneers of settler stock, so we are having an Irish style funeral service and wake with her at our home to celebrate her wonderful life. Trish would like that! She always admired her Irish family ancestors.
All our family and friends and others who knew Trish are welcome to join us 'At Home', to gather and surround Trisha's wicker basket coffin to celebrate and toast her, and partake in refreshments and a light luncheon with us all.
On behalf of our family, I will advise Trisha's confirmed funeral details over the next few days, or so, here on FaceBook.
We do not know at this stage numbers attending for our proposed catering, and to assist us with catering, could people attending kindly bring a small plate thanks. The latter would be appreciated.
No flowers please and in lieu, if able, a small affordable donation would be appreciated to the Gympie RSL Sub Branch Welfare Fund for aged veteran support.
