Mount Tamborine Weekend Away

  • We will be coming along for the weekend but will arrange our own accommodation.
  • An atmosphere all of their own. Luxury Cottages have King Size Beds and your own Webber BBQ! These cottages are unique, fresh and individual in luxury and styling adding a real spark to any romantic These cottages provide a warm cosy surrounding for a magical escape.

    A True English lodge anyone would be proud to call home. Designed to complement any couples special escape. A Large Double Spa, Air Conditioning, a Genuine Log open fireplace and self-contained kitchen TV and video are a few of the many luxuries provided for your retreat. The front porch/private courtyard is the perfect place to relax whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings.

    Simply the most luxurious in Tamborine Mountain Accommodation

    The Castle on Tamborine is the newest addition to the Lisson Grove theme cottage family. Lisson Grove features six romantically inspired cottages, arranged around an English village green, each with its own inspiring cottage theme. Lisson Grove offers the ultimate in privacy and intimacy.
    $550 per night, including hot gourmet breakfast served in the privacy of their own Wing each morning.
A $130.00 Deposit is required for the Cottages and $275.00 for The Castle to secure the booking.
No deposit required if you are arranging your own accommodation.

November 1st and 2nd 2019 Weekend Away

Each year, Roadrunner Car Club proposes to plan at least one weekend away and potentially longer events for the benefit of members who wish to pursue additional social events sometimes also including an automotive aspect.

The first proposed such event to press is a weekend at Mt Tambourine at the sensational Lisson Grove with choices of accommodation with wonderful meals provided in the facility’s own restaurant plus if necessary additional conveniently located additional accommodation should that be necessary.

In order to secure the whole venue on behalf of the club, we have placed a “Hold” on the whole venue for just one week in order to firm numbers. Latecomers may or may not be in a position of finding convenient accommodation on the mountain.

Proposed Schedule.

Assemble Eumundi Park Opp Post Office for 8.30am Friday November 1

Depart Eumundi Park Opp Post Office at 9.00 AM Friday November 1

Arrive at DJR Team Penske at 11.30am to view their facility, merchandise shop and car collection

Leave DJR Team Penske for Boatworks at Coomera by 1.00pm to explore the Garage25 car collection.

Then move to The Galley restaurant for 1.30pm lunch 

Great food and reasonable prices with differing sized meals.

Explore Boatworks and surrounds after lunch

Depart App 3.00 PM

Proceed to Mt Tamborine via Tamborine Oxenford Rd

Check into the  Accommodation at Lisson Grove

Evening Meal at Three Little Pigs Bar and Bistro in Mt Tamborine township

Saturday cook yourself breakfast at Lisson Grove

Bus departs 9 AM for tour to and wineries 4/5 wineries over the course of the day.

Morning tea App 10.30

App 12.00 Lunch at Cedar Creek Winery. 

Return to accommodation on minibus.

Roast Dinner will be at Lisson Grove 

Sunday cook yourself breakfast at Lisson Grove with Late Check out.

Depart to Main Street for a wander and depart for home as you desire.
