CHRISTMAS in JULY - RALLY and LUNCH-Sunday July 7th

Come and enjoy yourselves on this interesting day starting from Cooroy and taking an easy drive through Pomona and Traveston arriving at Amamoor for morning tea/coffee at the Blue and White Teapot Cafe (10 Busby St.) A short walk to watch the Gympie "Rattler" arrive and turn around. A short drive takes us to the Kandanga Hotel for Lunch and Xmas in July celebrations.

0900Depart Cooroy Station. Travel via Pomona and Traveston  22kms

Stay on Traveston Rd

9.5 kms, TURN R onto Mary Valley Rd

1.3 kms. TURN L onto Blackgate Rd

1.5 kms. TURN R Into Busby St to Amamoor Railway Station.

Train arrives at 1000. The engine is uncoupled and turned by hand.

We will be stopping here for tea/coffee at the Blue and White Teapot Cafe at 10 Busby st.

11:15Depart the station. Head back along Busby Sat and TURN R at the end onto Mary Valley Rd for 1.5 kms.

TURN R onto Diamondfield Rd

4.5.kms, TURN L onto Kandanga Creek Rd

4 kms arrive at Kandanga Hotel.
